Welcome to Contitude, Martina!

The new year is here and after a long holiday, we at Contitude are looking forward to a busy spring with exciting assignments and projects! We also have a new member in our team and would like to introduce our new star in this blog post. A warm welcome to Contitude Martina!

What is your role at Contitude?

I will be working as a Digital Marketing Strategist where my role is to help companies succeed with their digital marketing. I'm really looking forward to this year and achieving common goals together with both clients and colleagues!

Tell us about your background

I have a background in sales & marketing and have spent the last few years working in marketing in various roles. Digital marketing is broad and I've been lucky enough to try my hand at a bit of everything. It has given me an understanding of different areas and made me realise my strengths and in which role I thrive best.

What are you most excited about in digital marketing?

Digital marketing is a growing industry with many opportunities and there is always something to learn. As a person, I like variety and thrive in an environment where you get to combine creativity with analysis - which digital marketing certainly offers. Keeping up to date, keeping up with new trends, tools and features is a must. It can be both challenging but also very fun and evolving.

Do you have any predictions for the future to share?

I think I see a big difference in social media where new solutions and trends have exploded recently - which has also changed our buying behaviour. Some examples of this are Instagram-liveshopping, verification banners, direct-shopping and access to link-decal (regardless of follower count). These changes have made it easier for consumers and businesses alike as accessibility has increased and the buying journey has become easier. To stay relevant in the marketplace, I think businesses would be wise to revisit their digital strategy from time to time. It is also important to remember that customers expect good service, regardless of the channel. If you decide to add a new digital channel to your strategy, it is therefore important to make sure you have the resources and time to do so.

What are you passionate about?

I enjoy educating and it's something I want to do more of and get better at. Sharing knowledge and helping companies find their niche, strategies and tools that contribute to positive results is the most fun! I also have a penchant for creating graphic content. The right colour, shape and image reflects the exact emotion you want to convey in your message.

What do you do when you're not working?

I prefer to spend a day off with my partner, family or friends. During the day, I find it very cosy to stroll around and bargain at flea markets or visit an art exhibition. A nice dinner with loved ones is also something I rarely say no to - and if I have to choose, tapas or Lebanese is on the menu!

What is your superpower?

As a person, I think I have a fairly positive and easy-going attitude to life and enjoy helping others. Both in my personal life and at work, I get energy from spending time with others and enjoy making connections. This has helped me over the years as I have an incredibly good network and many good relationships.
