What is Marketing Automation?

Marketing Automation often refers to the system used to process leads, but is broadly the flow that a company creates to process the online behaviour of a person or potential customer. Marketing Automation is often implemented to look at the entire customer journey and help gain insights on how to lead the customer further in the buying journey.

What is Paid Social?

Paid Social refers to advertising through social media. It is usually divided into organic posts and sponsored posts. Organic posts are those that are posted and sponsored to spread. Paid Social refers to those posts that are either sponsored or sent out through social media as an advertisement.

What is CTR?

CTR stands for Click Through Rate and is a figure that shows how many people have clicked on an ad, for example. It is shown as a percentage and you can see how many people have clicked through without everyone who has seen the ad. Click Through Rate is relevant when looking at how well an ad is performing.

What does PPC mean?

PPC stands for Pay Per Click and refers to paid advertising. The concept is a way of measuring the results of your ads by looking at the cost of a click. It can be the price you pay per click both on an ad through Google Ads or through social media.

What is content?

Content means content and refers to everything you fill your website and social media with. It can be text, images or video.

What is SEM?

SEM stands for Search Engine Marketing. Unlike SEO, which is about organic marketing, SEM is about paid marketing.

When you do a search in a search engine, you will usually see ads among your results. These ads are Search Engine Marketing.

SEO stands for search engine optimization.

The short explanation is that SEO means the work that affects your results in a search engine's search, i.e. the position of your website when you use the search engine Google and google your company name, for example.
